P.A.C.E. Board
A board called Parents Advocating Child Care Excellence (PACE) works collaboratively with the center director, staff, and families to ensure the highest quality child care is being delivered. All center parents and family caregivers are welcome to join the PACE board.
The PACE board plans events, fundraises, and provides tuition-assistance as needed. All parents who register their child at Cradle to Crayons are members of PACE, are welcome to attend board meetings, and can elect or become 'voting' members. |
A word from PACE... "One of the great strengths of Cradle to Crayons is the emphasis on parents' participation in their child's experience. Through the PACE Board, as well as through simple but frequent parent-teacher conversations, parents are able to contribute directly to the quality of service at the Center.
Events like the potluck suppers and the annual "garage sale" fundraiser provide a great opportunity for parents to interact with other families. These events foster a sense of community around the Center that is very positive." -- Deb Came, PACE President |
